Good server computer for atleast 200$?

I am hosting gameservers sometimes and I always have to host them on my computer, and I was going to decide to get a server computer
I need one under 200$ or around that point, I also need a good server operating system.
What is a good server hosting operating system, and what is a good computer to use?

Why don't you just go to NFOServers or something? Hosting off of your own connection probably would be stuffty anyway.

His stream had almost 35 seconds of delay, the norm is usually 5 to 10 seconds with high speed internet.
That or he just has too many research tabs open.

any modern computer is able to host without a problem. you can build some cheap pc that runs quietly and is power efficient

the problem will be your internet connection. youre going to need one hell of an upload and download speed.

You can build a basic tower PC for comparatively little money. For a home server, that'll be fine.

For game servers it doesn't really matter.you really don't need a specialized server OS, just use whatever you have/want
If you don't feel like learning Linux, and have access to a Windows OS, go for Windows.
If you don't have access to a Windows OS and feel fine with Linux, go for Linux
