Author Topic: My School's filter is very strange  (Read 2236 times)

My niece once had to do a lactore about something you could choose yourself. She picked kittens. So she started to google pussies...
And the search results decided to show up research everywhere... And the school didn't block any websites
She was like... 8, maybe 9 years old ;-;

...lactore?

oh that reminds me

ian, do you remember that one assembly they gave for the people who used the internet? That was because a kid in our school went onto researchhub in class and started playing og mudbone
...THATS WHAT IT WAS FOR?

loving gross

...lactore?
lecture, i think

Back in highschool the computer labs had a teacher that would sit at the main computer that had basically screen captures of every computer in the room.

I had times when I was just browsing a blog or a soundcloud in the library after school to kill time before track practice and the librarian would take control of the computer from across the library, close all the windows, and then yell at me. Even though it was after school and I was one of the only ones in the library.

High school sucked lol

My schools filte blocks "researchographic text" or "offensive text"
lol

I went all the way up till senior year using my own proxy, then my school wisened up to it and blocked my website. That was fine though, so I just hosted it on another domain I used. Then they blocked that. So I changed domains again.

By the end of my senior year, they'd added a special exception to block connections to the IP of my server. Hahaha.

If I wanted to access strange websites at my high school I could have probably just asked for the password to bypass the filter.

It was kind of a funny web filter too, Facebook was blocked because of "Friendship content" or something like that.

who would use 4g or 3g outside of school

lol my school has no filters w/s/e we can and do literally watch research on our computers at school its hilarious
my country is so backwards in technology :/

my school blocks image hosting websites because of "spyware," blocked everything even remotely related to games, and blocked everything related to forums and social media (but you could get onto facebook using https instead of http)

my sister's friends would save hentai onto a flash drive and watch it in the library though

i like these people.

When I was in school you could bypass the filter entirely by not putting www. at the start of the URL
