I agree. Too many idiots on the internet these days that think they know about firearms, but their knowledge comes from a unrealistic Hollywood trope video game. Now we have all these idiots that worship the MP7, crowbars, that British Artic Warfare Magnum rifle, and the P90 because video games have them believing that they are the best firearms in the world.

They mostly dwell on youtube or places where gun nuts, /k/ommandos, and people who work with guns don't go. Every once in awhile they wander off into the wrong place to start to fangirl about how great their hero Gordon Freeman is and how the MP7 is the best gun in the world. AWP and P90 are worshiped by the COD and CS crowd. Then you have the Media and Game devs who want people to believe that shotguns can only hit something 5 feet away.

while you are right about shotguns, i have to say that all three of those firearms are pretty effective for what they're made for (mostly law enforcement, other then the AWP)
