He said "look on page 2 i had no idea i would be banned for saying that (no i dont support piracy or trolling but i said it as a way for him to not be bored)"
Then at the bottom in red it said "User was banned for this post" I say that whoever banned him was probably on purpose, he had no idea how he got banned and he also didnt know that he was going to banned for saying that.

It took me a minute to decipher this because it's nonsensical, but from what I get, you're asking why he got banned.
He got banned for admittance to trolling, and piracy. You can read up on the rules against piracy here.
In particular,

It states in the rules in the games board that discussion of Piracy is forbidden

I thought this was obvious.

he got banned for piracy (and trolling i think), plus when we told him he might get banned he just crossed it out and didnt remove it.

He broke one of the rules. He was promoting piracy, even if it was a joke.

The rules are stickied on the top of the Off Topic board which he was in. They make it clear not to be discussing piracy, which includes promoting it.

It's not a valid excuse to not know the rules.
They are written up in stickied topics in all the boards. Users are expected to have read them, understand them, and follow them. Not doing so doesn't let you get away with breaking them.

If you're in town and you break the law without knowing it a police officer can still arrest you for it. It's just not an excuse to be unaware of the law, and that really does apply here too.
