you'd rather blow ~100$+ on a desk that you could possibly get for a free (albeit a bit used)?

i just built my own.
Same.

Maybe you should get creative OP and build yourself a desk!  :cookieMonster:

Just our local mayor mitch being a richard again.

We own one that's actually a separate piece of a bunk bed and I think they might sell them separately
might interest you.

I wasn't trying to be a richard in the second one. I was being serious.

could i get a picture or something? im trying to unify the style of my room
i have like 4 pieces of furniture with all different types of finish and stuff

well it was easy as forget for me. i built it in my shop class so i had access to a lot of tools (and a little help from my teachers every now and then) i spent like 80 bucks on materials and it took me about a month to build it (2 hours for 5 days every week) i am told that i am an excellent carpenter so im sure it was easier for me than it would be for you. but in the end its worth the satisfaction.

orgys

Yea you can build one easy enough

People's stuff always comes out crappy in woodshop because they either

1)Don't care
2)Don't try
3)Are handicapped
4)All of the above

If you take your time and care about trying to get it perfect then it'll come out nice

Hardest part is getting access to the tools like table saw, router, drills, miter saw. You could improvise but its much easier if you have all the tools already
