I've found the best defense against breaking your phone, is to treat it like the multi-hundred dollar piece of technology that it is.

Anyone not an "actual dumbass" wouldn't damage their phone so badly that only a 40 dollar case would protect it. Don't drop your phone, people!Have you considered that the fingerprints and dirt are under the screen protector?
"don't buy insurance, just don't crash!"
"don't get life insurance, just don't die!"

It's true, needed to replace my crappy starter case.

You still don't need to spend over forty dollars for a phone case, that's just outrageous.

I just have a cheap plastic case and a screen protector for my phone, and it's fine. I drop it on accident all the time and not a single noticeable nick on it.

I've personally had better results with otterboxes.

Test it by throwing your phone at the ground

yo bud. i do that with mine because my dad won't buy me a new one if mine breaks since we can't afford it. i don't even let other people use my phone because i'm afraid they'll drop it. i take every precaution with my phone but that stuff still gets dropped on accident and i'm so glad that i have a case that'll break open before my phone does because i've accidentally dropped my phone a lot due to cats knocking it down or jackasses slamming into me while i'm holding it.

my phone is industructible

i assume
i mean i dropped it on a rock on purpose and its like new yo
