Computer build for $750 or lower?

I need a new computer for gaming. I hope to be able to play games like DayZ and FSX at a good framerate but I only have $750 budget. Could someone make a build that is the best for gaming for that budget? I know nothing about computers.

For $750 you could easily get away with a 280 and at least an i3-4130. Even though the fx-6300 has more cores, the i3 has much better single threaded performance that will help for gaming

What are your brand preferences? I might be able to cook something up using pcpartpicker if it's intel/nvidia/etc...If not, I can't help you since I don't have much info on AMD's stuff.

i3 4130 - Plenty fine for gaming.
MSI Z87-G41 - Decent for the price.
Corsair XMS 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 - Plenty enough for gaming.
Crucial M500 120GB 2.5" SSD + Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM - A small SSD for extremely fast boot up times and room for a few games, and an HDD for everything else.
EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB ACX - Good GPU for the price. ACX cooling will keep it quiet and EVGA has arguably the best customer service.
NZXT Source 210 (Black) ATX Mid Tower - Cheap decent case.
Corsair 600W ATX12V - Yes, 430w would be fine but there's literally no price difference. Better safe than sorry.
LG GH24NSB0 DVD/CD Writer - I assume he wants an optical drive.
Windows 8 Key from /r/softwareswap - This is a bit of a tricky part that will save you about $80. Basically, people that are in the Microsoft Developer Network program get free windows keys and sell them for really cheap at a community called softwareswap. You'll need to follow these instructions to install windows from a USB drive and then put in the key you've bought from /r/softwareswap.

If you absolutely don't want to get one from /r/softwareswap you can get a regular windows copy instead for $80 more and drop the SSD.

That CPU is not fine for gaming and is $20-50 less than an FX 8350 which would kick the hell out of that.

Only in threaded games, of which most aren't. If you're looking to encode video on the cheap, the 8320 or 8350 is a great choice but otherwise go with an i3-4130 so you can have a decent upgrade path. I think blake's build needs work though, an ssd is a little ambitious for this budget of build where the money could instead be spent on better graphics, and a 4x2 memory kit is better than an 8x1

No preferences. I've been a Mac user all my life really, which is why I'm upgrading.
