I wouldn't be too worried about it charging super slow. I just got a Moto G less than 2 weeks ago, and charged really slowly at first, but as I broke the battery in if got better.

Motorola themselves said that that might happen.

in fact, it's even more helpful for one-handed typing. which is probably, most of what you'll be doing with your phone. at least a lot of it

Yea, i'll go ahead and try it out whenever I get around to it.
So I want my phone to be as secure as possible, so far I am doing the following.

• Encrypting Device
• Installed Malwarebytes
• Turned Off NFC and Bluetooth (also saves battery)
• Set Lock Screen (KnockCode)

Is there anything else I should do for security?

I was charging it via USB Port, I plugged it into the wall and now it's charging pretty fast.
