im a pretty negative person in general

Don't tell me you hate mechanical keyboards

I do. I love laptop/flat top style key boards. Easy to glide across, and the good ones are still well defined.

I'm very shocked.
Where's the love for the Commodores or Amigas?

starfish - the star fish
itis* - inflammation

CRTs are stuff that's why. Beige is also stuff.

But hey, opinions.

Well I mean if you're cool with a small stuff resolution monitor or having everything be almost impossible to lift CRT monitors aren't stuff. So if you're a reasonable person CRTs are stuff. Also beige is the grossest computer color ever, I have no idea why anyone would want them back ever. I figure anyone saying they're cool never actually lived through using them, because they were ugly to everyone then and are still ugly today.

its amazing how phones today are more powerful then computers from like 2004

I remember seeing a CRT with an extremely high res. Higher then anything today. Its still not worth it though. You also can get a CRT for like a dollar at your local goodwill if you really wanted one, but the resolution is most likely trash.

Because IBM was the best and they're stuff now
They're partnering with Apple, even though Steve Jobs hated IBM.
im a pretty edgy person in general
fixed

Would this count as vintage? I found an old IBM Actionwriter 1 and bought it for $3 when they're worth like $300 on ebay, it was in perfect condition and it worked.

dude i've lived with a loving 15 year old CRT monitor (bought when my dad built his computer 15 years ago) until 2011 i think (i cant remember when i got the flat monitor) and it was loving sweet

I actually own that etower. I also have a nice emachine keyboard to match it. It was a great machine. Ran Suprisingly faster than I expected and I didnt have as many boot problems as I did with a gateway of the same age.
