3DS tinybaby or 3DS MIGHTY XL

Hey guys I'm back after a while. I've been spending most of my time earning enough labor tokens to set aside for things I want to buy and I'm finally in the situation to buy a 3DS. Should I go for the XL or the original? The original is $10 cheaper on amazon but in general I've heard about a lot of battery life improvements on the XL. What are your opinions?

Also, my current "games i'm going to buy at the same time" list is as so:
- LoZ: a Link Between Worlds
- LoZ: Ocarina of Time 3D
- Pokemon X

Get the XL. I find the original to be small and uncomfortable to hold.
