The prices of those damn wacom cintiqs
I know they're professional but damn I can't afford that stuff

the prices they charge are not justified, they do it because they have a monopoly on the tablet market; their wireless pen tech is patented and no one else is allowed to use a wireless pen because of it, you get wacom or you get stuff because no one else can use the good design
not to mention that they've gotten REALLY loving lazy with their designs because of it, I mean so far no version of the Cintiq has a professional grade LCD panel in it
using a stuffty LCD panel in a $2000 tablet is inexcusable, they should be using an S-IPS photography grade panel at that price point, and there should be a lower priced version (<= $1k) for people who don't need that color accuracy
and don't even THINK about the Cintiq Companion, that thing is so loving horrible
