How come my server is dead

Sometimes people on the same network view the server on the server list as dead - this is a problem with your router not properly knowing your external IP. The only solution I've found for this problem is to use 'Connect to IP' to manually connect to your LAN IP address (found with start menu -> run -> cmd -> ipconfig).
