Author Topic: What is the maximum character count for a BLF forum post?  (Read 1100 times)

My guess is 10,000 but I'm not sure.

let's find out ./mr. owl

Just spammed letters, max is 20,000

The question is though, could you get away with a 20000 character post?

Make a 20,000 letter run-on sentence.

If it was spam, you might get banned for some short amount of time. If it was meaningful, everyone would be an ass and just go "tldr" at it. Pointless either way.

What does tldr mean?

Some megathreads have gone over that character count, thats why people put [Reserved] for the first post, so they can go on in that other post.

I've seen people reserve the first post but I don't think I've ever seen anybody actually go over the limit. Could just be me though.

I legit tried posting something (not spam) really long once and it exceeded the character limit.

yeah? one of my mod topics was that long, I had to overflow into the first post after it
