Well at least if we get bit we won't turn into one of them. We'll need flame throwers, white phosphorous, and a stuff ton of thermo baric bombs, also dragons breath and dragon slugs. Some thermite grenades too and molotovs as well. We gotta burn them before they get use. The flames will kill the host and destroy the parasite from within.

Na bro, the white phosphorus bombs will blanket a large area in a white cloud that will continuously burn their flesh unlike all that is left is charred bone. No muscle, no ligiments, no movement, no organs like a stomach, no life.

Thermobaric bombs will suck up all the oxygen in the area and then produce a large concussive blast while also kicking up the temperature in the area. Hopefully the worms don't multiplay from being blown to bits and that their organs get fried in the blast.
