Are any of the sprites gonna be animated?

Is it cool if I make some automaton enemies?

Is it cool if I make some automaton enemies?

im doing that right now actually

Ok, yeah, everyone make some enemies if you want. I hate to delay again but I did some irl errand stuff today and am bushed, so I'm behind schedule. Sometime tomorrow for sure.

If you get an enemy in by then it will be featured sooner!

If you'd like, I can make gifs, yeah.

Go for it. Just have them be magic powered or something to fit the theme so purists won't hate you.

May I present...

Malfunctioning Copper Automatons (powered by some magic mumbo-jumbo. Souls or some stuff like that, I dunno)

(crossed out one was just a little reference as to how they're supposed to look when they're not old and rusting and malfunctioning and killing people)

That was actually the route I was going for

They were from some steampunky adventure thread that I was working on but never came to fruition

so I just re-purposed them for this

Jelly Glob, Jelly Golem, Super Jelly Golem, Ultra Jelly Golem

Made out of cement, these inedible and amorphous golems are not as squishy as they look. Their ability to combine and create lower stage allies make these enemies a hassle to deal with, but grants the party a good amount of experience points if they manage to defeat them. As stronger jelly golems get weaker, they revert to their lower forms.

Jelly golems and it's upper stages are able to throw boulders by turning their arms into spheres. They can also spend a turn to regenerate their body parts.

Super jelly golems will start to sink into a pool of slime if they're nearing death, avoiding most conventional attacks. They attack by erupting spikes from the ground and swinging their stone appendages, in addition to throwing boulders.

Ultra jelly golems are considered to be one of the toughest monsters, some rumors say there's a form even past this one. This jelly golem is protected by a thorn-covered body, which can deal returning damage to melee attackers. Their large mass enables them to create several allies of lower tier, easily outnumbering a single challenger. It possesses some new attacks such as a beam from it's gemstones, firing artillery spikes, and crushing opponents with a forceful fist. Occasionally, it sinks itself into a pool to raise it's defenses and attacks with retaliating stone thorns.

Flint Golem
Pretty brittle, sparks when hit. They are often found near combustible objects.
