Do you think this is a good PC build for gaming HDMI at a budget of $997 exact?

I can't spend more than my budget, so if I should replace a part please keep this in mind.

why a sound card and network card?
why two bluray readers
why that old processor bundled with a 750?
8gb of ram is questionable too

not really, 8GB is pretty normal for gaming PCs and most games don't need more than that at the moment.

Just completely loving start over this build is atrocious.

what's wrong with sound cards
nowadays you don't need a sound card for a GAMING pc
or anything for that matter except music production i guess

except sound cards are needed for higher end headphones to get the maximum quality out of them
