why is it that every loving forumer will die without a gaming computer here
they use it to play minecraft and livestream it
*shrugs* what a nightmare

And has DOUBLE the TDP (115W vs 60W) for the small amount of improved performance it has. Did you read what I said at ALL?
Nobody here gives a forget, please go away you goddamn hippie.

Gamers, as an entity, are bad for the environment. We sit at home running machines and consoles that inevitably consume fossil fuels in electricity. We sit inside for hours on end, cranking up the AC/turning on a fan if it's too hot and turning up the central heating or running an electric heater under our desk if it's too warm. The media we enjoy requires fossil fuels to produce in one way or another. If we order parts or games online for delivery they consume fossil fuels in delivery. The internet which we make so much use of requires fossil fuels to run and manage.

If you seriously think that cutting 60w off your TDP will make up for all the pollution you cause just by having the interests that you do then you are even more pretentious than the environmentalist message you keep spouting.

The video card and storage dont have prices.

Plus, the OS doesnt have a price, so as far as im concerned, you just implied he has to pirate his OS. You better change it quick.

Looks like that's a preference issue on my end with certain vendors being opted out, never mind I guess. (Was still logged into PCPartPicker account with Newegg being selected as the default vendor and a few others) Better pay more attention.

pcpartpicker wouldn't support this option

why a sound card and network card?
why two bluray readers
why that old processor bundled with a 750?
8gb of ram is questionable too
because integrated sound (and sometimes network) cards suck major ass
dunno
games are GPU intensive, not CPU intensive
8GB should be plenty

I never said I wanted a high performance Gaming Pc, and I am not so firmiliar
With types of CPUs and GPUs I should get.

When I said budget I ment I only have $997 to spend.

That would be my "budget"

I am not some ass who spends a bunch of money for a Top of the line gaming PC.

Thankyou, others, who gave me other lists to try instead of flaming me for picking parts that are not high end or environmental friendly.
I don't see the problem here; you asked us to build you a PC for ~$1000, and we gave you some suggestions. Seriously, if you have the money, use it; it's going to pay off in the end. Your build would get outdated in a few years, while mine would last you 5-6 years without upgrading anything except for the video card.

What about nuclear power plants? They are clean and I get my power from them, I live near the limerick nuclear power plant in PA USA. There have only been two nuclear accidents that destroyed a lot of area.

Chernobyle and Fukushima, Three mile island didn't really do much.

You should use the builds other people suggested.

The one you made is not what you want for gaming.

Unless you are going to splurge a hefty amount into a nice sound card, an integrated sound card on a modern day motherboard will give any low-to-medium priced sound card a run for its money if you can even tell the difference

That is not exactly correct, there are numerous titles that are cpu intensive and bound by the cpu more than the gpu. Also having a lesser cpu and splurging on a better gpu might introduce bottlenecking between the cpu and gpu. No matter what you are playing--the cpu plays a part in the performance of your game.

ye totally
Nuclear power pants are actually incredibly clean. The only waste they produce is plain water vapor. (And depleted uranium.)
