One of the diagnostic criteria for almost every disorder is that these "normal behaviors" are getting in the way of the person's day-to-day life, which is why psychologists will still counsel and try to diagnose (a good psychologist isn't going to diagnose someone who doesn't need it) people who seek help.

Yes, people might have "down days,' but if these "down days" are a constant thing that are slowing down your productivity in your job, for example, you could have depression, but you should trust the opinion of a medical expert before saying you do, of course.

I feel like the obsession with anthropomorphic fictional characters is because you all feel betrayed by humans in general and wouldn't want to affiliate with them anymore, but still feel more comfortable with human features because, being human, you still would like things to be familiar.
