Author Topic: Im angry at myself because im fat.  (Read 2846 times)

No, im not asking for pity, i need to get this off my chest.
All i did this summer was sit at my computer, i keep telling myself that this is the day i change
my life and get off my ass and do something. But nope, ill just sit back on my computer, think about it for a while and before i start ill sleep and this repeats itself. I have to be forced to workout, when i started doing intensity i was so happy because i was forced by my teachers and then apparently because kids are loving handicapped half of them stopped doing it. So i suffered for it. I cant find a workout buddy so im kinda stuck here on the path to self-destruction. help?

have you tried setting goals for yourself or anything?

stop listening to tyler the creator and go loving run around the block/yard/town/gym something

I recently decided to take up biking everyday at the park. The exercise is low impact and the best thing is that it burns a stuffton of calories. :o

Like milestones? I told myself at weight 192 to lose 27 pounds but i was 10 pounds off and i stopped. Now im back to 185

well for a food thing, if you really like chips you can buy those huge chip bags full of smaller bags and put it in the pantry a bit far away. You'd think you'd just go back for another but you usually dont

just go tell yourself to do some things without the intention of losing weight
dont give yourself a "lose 2 pounds in 2 months" deadline because then youll put it off

go to the gym, join ROTC, or the boy scouts, or something. get on you face every morning and do a set amount of pushups. then run a mile. its how my dad stayed fit after he got out of panama

i've considered taking up biking because i'm developing arthritis and running/walking puts me in  ton of pain. the only downside is that biking incorrectly can take the fun out of the lady bits down there :(

Other than that, if you find a good biking trail thats a couple of miles long, you won't get bored. I can't run because of a condition in my legs. The high impact would destroy them. A good song or audio book on your MP3 player and you can exercise all day without passing out on the sidewalk.
