uh im getting pop-up windows after downloading blockland add-ons

so i've been downloading a bunch of blockland add-ons lately and now i have pop-up windows for stupid bullstuff showing up in firefox. i'm doing a full scan now but something tells me my security isnt that great.

if i had to take a wild guess i'd say it was from that gay image 2 brick thing that didnt WORK

anyways anyone know how to get rid of what is probably adware because this security, again, doesnt seem to be working

they were like all from mediafire

do they have like timed pop-ups or some stuff

That doesn't make sense. Addons are just in .ZIPs, they don't execute anything, and you (presumably) didn't even open them.

shady download links probably do drive-by downloads bundled in with the actual requested item(s).

what sites have you been downloading the addons from directly(ex. download sites like Mediafire or MEGA)? Anything shady recently?

yeah medafire tends to have a lot of pop ups, i'd suggest an adblocker/popup blocker/both

well i never said for sure i thought it was a virus, but i feel like it might be. also it might be from that image2brick things that i did open. or maybe its mediafire loving with me for some reason? i dont know.
