Enjoy your consistent 15 fps on low settings.

my Gt 630 cost like $50

and the only reason i got that one is because i didn't want to have to upgrade the motherboard to PCI 3.0 yet

Not like PCIe 3.0 matters. It's not even a significant bus speed upgrade.

pci 2.0 works on 3.0 and vice versa

YOU RUINED HIM
the forget
i didn't recommend a gt 610 at all
also it was already bought anyways so i couldn't have influenced it

go for gtx 660+ if you can

all I meant was that he could "run" the shaders with it, not so much at use them

you won't even get 30 or even 20 FPS with max shaders with only 8k bricks, OP

and the answer to your question OP, barely yes

still better than the intel 910gl express chipset

Instead of you morons complaining about the card itself, how about you look at what processor he has first? It's a processor from around 2006.
The card may be incompatible with your motherboard. If it's an AM2 socket board, you've likely got PCIe 1.0a and are going to have a hard time getting the card to work.

I have the GTX 880m in my laptop. It's rly good

Also I just looked at nvidia's list of graphics processors and the 610 is almost the worst gpu performance wise you could get lmao. Cough up a little more dough next time you buy one, it will be worth it.

wasn't the gt 610 already purchased?
you might as well stick with it instead of taking another downgrade
they are both pcie 2.0 anyways, so if your board takes pcie 2.0 you're fine
