I honestly don't need a 13 year old 100k Blockland user to tell me how to run my server. Obviously people like it or they wouldn't play it. I know that's not the reason why you keep arguing with me. What's the real reason?
This will sound egotistical, but I think it needs to be said.
I have administrated the original MM. I have seen many changes and seen many things tried. I have my own sodding code in the gamemode.
I do not think you're hosting this gamemode properly and it makes me sad to see one of my favourite things in Blockland showcased in this way. I don't know what Brackets thinks; I don't know if he even has an opinion on it, but for the good of the game and the ones that enjoy playing it, I think you need to be aware of the problems your hosting style has and will create. You are supplying a way for our playerbase to have fun. If there is a consistent theme of people complaining and generally
not having fun, something is truly wrong.
If you want to improve on the gamemode, fine. You can add whatever you want, make tweaks where you think they belong; that's the beauty of open-source code. But you have to be sure to maintain the same game feel throughout. I think it's possible to make a new map if you're aware of what you're doing. You can probably even find a better way to describe the rules. Just be careful and mindful.
