Author Topic: Making a simple flying vehicle?  (Read 11929 times)

I really want to try something new, then it comes to 3D and stuff like that.

But, I don't know what is needed to make a functional flying vehicle?
I'll just edit and use the Flying Carpet script temporary.
I am going to use MS3D as I always do when it comes to modeling.

What does the model need to show up and work correctly ingame?

My bad explaining strikes again...

I meant, is what joints are needed to make it work?

joints meaning armatures/bones?
if so if you're making a melee weapon (e.g the sword) you need a mountPoint and a muzzlePoint
if you're making a gun you need a mountPoint, muzzlePoint, and ejectPoint

I knoq that, I've released a weapon pack a few days ago...

Joints for the vehicle, not weapons.

Well I haven't played with flying vehicles, only the ground ones, but you use mount0 for the driver seat, mount1-X for passenger seats and hub0-X for the wheels.
