Author Topic: Think I have a virus  (Read 529 times)

I don't have any popups or stuff, but suddenly one of my hard drives just disappeared.
Anyone seen this before, or know how to fix it?
Also it isn't anything with the computer, the drives seem to all be there.

your hard-drive failed

also known as it died

also known as you lost everything on that hard drive

Try unplugging the HDD and plugging it back in. Its fixed it for me before.
Or maybe its truly dead

you need to format your hard drive

Don't think it was dead, it was just working
and I've already tried plugging it and out.

check and see if the BIOS detects it

Just because it was just working doesn't meant it can't randomly die.
Uh, try running the hardware finder in the devices thing in control panel. (I hope someone gets what I mean because I'm slightly out of it)
