Haight-Ashbury is awesome. But the main drag there sucks absolute stuff.

I've literally never hated a place more than San Francisco. It is filled to the brim with entitled homeless people who will bite, kick, and pester you EVERYWHERE. Walking in the city is like replacing your shoes with a Step Master. The tourist areas suck, I've been to Fishermans Wharf like six times and I can say that I was thoroughly over it before I saw it the first time. Once you snap a pic of the Golden Gate Bridge, all there's left to do is walk across it for no reason. Fun. The non-tourist areas are generic urban areas that have nothing particularly special to offer. All the coffee shops are filled with people wearing grey berets typing away on their MacBook Air about checking their own white privilege. The public transport system is a trainwreck (pun not intended) and is filled with aforementioned homeless people who sleep on the seats.

Compared to the rest of the damn world, yes. Being to London, Paris, and many cities in Spain has led me to realize how young and boring this countries cultural history is. Seeing things like Versailles and Real Alcazar pales most any site you could see in America.

All those stoners can leave for another state for all care. Commiefornia has been pretty lame with all these stoners, hipsters, leftists, tumblr types, anti-gun people. If only I could send San Francisco 200km out to sea and secede it from the state. Then the state can become a true moderate state, instead of a left wing stronghold inhabited by mostly right wingers.

Also Mexican food here, 90% of the time, sucks. At least with any "commercial" restaurants. Good Mexican food comes from hole-in-the-wall type places, which are harder to find.
