When players are visible on screen the textures stretch all over the place, and it looks like stuff bad.

Thats NOT normal.

Reinstall, methinks.

It's happened before on a previous install. SO I AM A SAD :panda:

Vista?

It's the graphics drivers. This happens to me.

It is Vista, I doubt I'm up-to-date, but I'm not more than 1-2 versions behind. In any case, I'll update and post my results.

Vista + openGL + ati = crap

I would recommend getting rid of vista.

No dice, it wasn't the driver.

Also, I would rather suffer the glitch then leave Vista. :cookieMonster:

Also, being such idiots you kind of deserve this problem (pointing out the blatant racial pandaery)

Idiots for not pirating a copy of XP? A lot of new computers simply come with Vista, and parents may not understand the differences that their children do. As a result, that's $100 (at the very least) that would be required for a legitimate XP license.

And I'm not sure if Blockland even runs under linux (using wine or whatnot).

Blockland used to work with Wine; on my computer version 0.9.33 with Ubuntu Feisty worked well, but later versions with Ubuntu Gutsy don't and crash on loading the Pine Tree.

I also have Vista + ATI card, and yes that is the problem. ATI's customer support only care about the big-name games.

It's sort of a contest: can a few Linux guys with their computers, or a multinational corporation, fix my problem first?
