Author Topic: Who likes to test malware?  (Read 1179 times)

I personally do, and I'm trying to get a computer, disconnected from my PC and hooked up somewhere else.

malc0de and Malware Domain List are pretty excellent sites to get started on downloading malware.

WARNING: DO NOT VISIT ANY OF THE LINKS ON THE SITE ON YOUR REGULAR COMPUTER. YOU RISK DESTROYING YOUR PC OR GETTING LOTS OF VIRUSES.

Please, just use a virtual machine or a computer that isn't even on the one you normally use. AKA another computer.
Go get one from Goodwill, I don't care.

Aside from that, anyone else got any good database sites or old computers I can buy to test them?
Thanks.

why waste money on a computer to test them on?
just use a VM

So you want me to download these cool programs right?

Less risk of your PC getting infected as well.

The OP contains sufficient warning; if he gets banned it'll be for being a dumbass rather than posting links to malware. Generally it's not a good idea to provide links to malware at all, even if you give warning. There's gonna be that one guy who downloads a virus by accident.

pretty sure giving the link is still not allowed even if a warning is provided

i dont know whether hes going to be banned or not

but if someone clicks those links completely ignoring the bold red text than they sort of deserve it
