It can be transmitted by contact with saliva too

so basically if your cat has licked you

I JUST CONTRACTED A DEADLY DISEASE LOL BETTER TELL THE INTERNET

you should really be more worried about getting in a car instead of needles

If you cat licks part of your skin where there's an open wound, yeah. Regardless, if you have a pet that has rabies your entire family needs to get vaccinated just as a precaution.

you know what's gotta happen to find out if your cat has rabies, right? it's sad but I mean one way or another. you're either gonna have to pay for treatment with the possibility of not needing it, or lose a cat, with the possibility of finding out he never had rabies
actually, you're gonna have to lose a cat either way. idk if it's even legal to have a pet that may possibly have rabies, but whether it is or not you can't just keep a potentially rabid cat around. you also can't release him or take him to a shelter

Here's information on Rabies, including how it's transmitted and symptoms.

All the facts there are relevant to other nationalities too (bar the bit about it being rare, since that only applies to the UK where it's been essentially eradicated).

I had to get twelve needles all in the same hour before, you're crying about 5?

I needed to have surgery done and they couldn't get the IV to work, and I ended up with six holes on each hand. Two needles stuck into each hole.

well good thing my cat who drools doesn't have rabies.
