Author Topic: Mouse moving by itself - Windows 8.1  (Read 2621 times)

So I seem to be having a problem with looking around in the game, specifically whenever I move my mouse. Sometimes it will accelerate and/or move by itself after I have stopped moving the mouse. I am using an external Logitech wireless USB mouse and am running this on Windows 8.1 on Steam. I have played BL normally before on Windows 7 without any problems. I have also tried updating my drivers and such but no luck. I am also running this on a new laptop that I received today (ASUS G550JK-DS71).

Here's my hardware specs:
- 8 GB RAM
- Intel Core i7 4710HQ @ 2.5 GHz
- Nvidia GTX 850m
- 750 GB HDD

And My Console.log

Sorry, it isn't a logitech mouse, it is an HP G33 wireless USB mouse.

Is there dust or crumbs under the mouse? Is the sensitivity too high?

Forgot to add, there is a possibility of a RAT, did you get it store new? Or did you like wipe it and reinstall the OS?

There are no dust crumbs under the mouse and the sensitivity is default which I don't think is too high.

I ordered it from Amazon and no, I didn't install a new OS.

Another point I like to add is that the issue occurs mostly whenever I move my mouse downward (i.e. start to look at the ground). Whenever I do move it down, my player slowly starts to pan down until it reaches a point where it cannot look and more further than below.

Good News: I have seemed to fix the problem thankfully but not completely. When I go into fullscreen mode, the problem goes away and everything works as it should but when I go onto windowed mode in any type of resolution, the problem arises again.

So yeah.

Do you have any add-ons enabled? Try backing up your files, and then deleting and re-installing Blockland to see if the issue persists.

I doubt it's a hardware problem, but try putting fresh batteries in the mouse to be sure it's a Blockland issue.

This is caused by a 'momentum' or similar setting on your mouse.

oh please

I have this same exact problem on my windows surface, the mouse just keeps drifting after i stop moving it. I use a bluetooth mouse and think that is the problem, I'll try a wired one and post back here.

I just tried full screen mode and the mouse works fine.
