All I can say is this: the problem is not the gun, it is the person behind the gun. The person is controlling the gun; the gun is not controlling itself. Without the person, the gun wouldn't shoot. This is why I believe there should be more regulations done when it comes to who can own a gun and who cant.

Actually in New York State you can buy a rifle or shotgun without a license. If you're in NYC though you have to get a permit from the NYPD.

If we had more gun control we wouldn't have all these crazy-ass militias running around, and less school shootings. I don't want to live in fear, knowing that someone could shoot me at any given moment should they choose to.

umm, I'm pretty sure there're tests for that..if you have some type of mental disorder or emotional disorder you should be tested before you can have a gun
