Is it normal hardly having free time when it comes to HighSchool?

I hardly have free time xD, I have band practice from 3-6 on days T, W, TH and practice on saturdays 8am-5pm. After that I have homework, then sleep at 8/9. Only have like 3 hours of free time on M and F because of homework and practicing my instument. So yea... Is that like normal or what

I'm a bit worried because I want to get AP classes next year and idk how that will go...

When my High School freshman year starts, I'm not expecting a lot of free time. I'm actually taking an AP History class, which is probably going to be hell. But hey, learning and lots o creds.

My grades are better during the marching band season because me and a few friends get together and do stuff together before practice or on the bus to a competition.

After marching band I have free time everywhere.

And yeah, thats normal. Most of your day is taken by school, then you go home and do some homework, after that you have just a few hours before you need to sleep.

Band is srs business.

I practed 6-9 tuesday and thursday, 2-5 on fridays.  Saturdays when we have a competition we meet at the school at either 7 or 8 AM and practice until we leave, usually around noon. Then we practice basics and stuff before the competition, the actual competition, then we get home 10PM or later. The latest I've been out 'till is 2AM.
