Author Topic: Is it normal hardly having free time when it comes to HighSchool?  (Read 3049 times)

I'm personally defending a few freshman this year, because some are so cute but they'll get beat up if someone isn't there for them.

SORRY CANT HEAR YOU OVER MY Annoying OrangeET
LES forgetIN GO M7
ILL SMASH THE BELL OF YOUR STUPID Annoying OrangeET

every good Annoying Orangeet player I've known was obnoxious with a huge ego about their ability
qft

Oh yeah?

Having fun barely being heard by the audience? Yeaaah I went there

He's right, but BRASS SOUNDS LIKE YOUR MAKING FARTING NOISES. Go saxes :s, we actually work out when marching freaking 1ton saxes ;=;

Yeaaah I went there

OT:

Okay, maybe I don't have free time, will IB and ap crush my life or what

I'm thinking of doing summer classes for more credit...

BRASS SOUNDS LIKE YOUR MAKING FARTING NOISES.

Does that sound like farting to you?

Also, one ton sax? Are you joking? Saxes are light and they have a neck strap. Try marching with a baritone for five hours and try to not say "my shoulders are killing me."

Annoying Orangeet section is full of generic plebs who can't play and/or think of a different instrument to play, let alone have the ability to. The entire band can agree on that.

That and they are annoying as hell, but as a Trombone, I'm no better.
Pffft I can play tenor, and by default all of the sax section and Piano, self taught.

GET ON ME
although in real life my ego is non existent soooo

EDIT: You wanna talk working out?

Sophomore year everyone in the band learned a brass and woodwind. ouir ballad was ALL woodwind and I played tenor. I lost my neck strap so I had to hold a TENOR with one hand for a minute and a half while marching and playing.

I was kidding (well kind of [not when you start out]), I played the Annoying Orangeet, Clarinet, now saxes.  I really do mean the plural

Losing your strap was your own fault. At least you can have one.

EDIT: EuphoriumEuphonium is even worse than marching Baritone. I have huge respect for those guys.

I'm not complaining, I'm just saying-

I have experienced heaviness before so having a lightweight instrument doesn't mean I can't do it

Literally, right now I'm using a guitar strap for a saxophone... I'm poor, but it works.

Alto sax's are light, Tenors are a little heavy, we had 2 people marching baritone last year, and those things are heavy as forget. and the neck strap only helps a little, and it causes neck pain after a while. You want to dangle a weight from your neck for long periods of time?

I know, I'm nervous because I have to march with a berri sax

if i didnt have a whole forest worth of homework i would have free time

Do you want your shoulder muscles obliterated for five hours a day, just to go back the next day and do it all again? I thought not. Not to mention it throws off your center of balance when marching. I'd much rather have a strap that helps a little than having spaghetti arms the rest of the day.

Are you talking to me?

Now that I mentioned this, I ran it through my head and I wanna throw up now

You can do it. We march contra's in our band and there's this really small thin guy that did it just fine. The strap will be a life saver.
