I literally can't see my keyboard. I guess closing my eyes robs me of the ability to see if I've made a spelling error, but the part of the key that my finger lands on tells me if I've hit the key correctly or not. For example, if I hit the ridge between keys I can tell if I've pressed both keys and backspace appropriately, or if only one actually actuated I don't need to. If I straight hit the wrong key, I'll definitely feel that my finger went somewhere I didn't tell it to go and backspace. I correct most of my spelling mistakes before my eyes get a chance to interpret what letters I'd written.
I'm typing this message with my eyes closed. I'm confident that I already don't have any spelling errors, but I guess I'm gonna look like a huge handicap if I do. I don't really know what to type, but I guess I'm just proving to myself that I really can do it and it's not just theory. Supercalifragilisticexpialido cious. Antidisestablishmentarianism.
