like not actually crying i mean my pillow was kind of wet and my eyes were kind of leaking tears
my mom used to threaten to shoot the family dog because he'd get on her nerves so much

serious apologies, that really wasn't the right stuff to post in this thread. it was probably really insensitive of me to contribute to that branch of conversation, especially if the loss of your dog is still a fresh memory. losing a pet can be really difficult, especially if there's nothing you can do to help to make them better. it isn't your fault at all that your dog died, so it won't help you at all to blame yourself; chemotherapy, even on pets, is a huge financial burden that regrettably isn't worth it in the long run. that aside, i offer my condolences for the loss of max.

it's fine, dealing with losing a pet can be really emotionally straining. just try not to take out your frustration on other people and remember that things will get better.
