i use the home row stuff a lot, at first i thought it was stupid but since learning it in 6th grade i've been able to type incredibly fast without having to look down

I don't use my pinkies unless I use the right shift key.
I don't think I use my right thumb at all, and I don't use homerow. I also memorized where all the keys are so no looking down.

I type with my middle fingers. Surprisingly not in a "flipping the Flatflyer" sort of fashion.

I look at the keyboard half of the time, and when not typing I usually have my left hand's digits set on shift, A, W, D, and space.

I developed my own typing style as a child and I find it extremely effective.
I also don't align my fingers on homerow and stuff. I just set my hands on top of the keyboard anywhere and I just know where.
