I think I will probably get one, looks neat.

If you dont know what the Steambox is look it up.

Badspot made a video review of the box, so theres that.

I dont know, but TF2 on a console? holy yes

There is no reason to get one, just connect your computer to a TV and have an equivalent or better experience.

Isn't the steambox just a really small computer with a cool controler?

do you know what youre talking about

There are multiple steam boxes of differing price ($499-$6000 iirc) with different components. If I'm correct the $6000 one comes with 4 Nvidia GTX Titans.

It's literally a small PC with Steam OS installed. If you're looking for a gaming PC, go elsewhere. While there are variants which can handle some gaming, it's not the same as going full custom.

TF2 has been available as part of The Orange Box on Xbox 360 and PS3 since 2007.
In fact, it launched on the Xbox 360 and PC simultaneously.

i have no desk space and no space to get a new desk without moving my hundred pound improvised one down some stairs so having a compact computer thats also pretty good is pretty tempting

This is pretty much the best way to put things.
