I dont understand, Half life 2 is garbage enough, why make a sequel. The whole game is wandering around until you find your way because there are no waypoints and the game doesnt explain stuff. The whole game is a confusing pile of macabre doodoo diarreha dogstuff.
I finished the first Half-Life when I was 10.
My 8-year-old cousin had no problems beating Half-Life 2.
There's only one possible path to go on, it's not open world or anything.
You are probably bad at video games. There's nothing wrong with that, but if you are, complaining that Half-Life 2 is bad because it's hard will just piss off it's fans.
On topic, I really like Steam box. The OS is free so I can simply build my own as I would build any PC, except it's optimized for television screens and gamepads. Best of all, I don't need to buy an entirely different console to upgrade it. I can just replace the cards and wallah: Better steam box.
