It's a remote.. not the TV.. they cost like $20 to get a new one just apologize and tell them what happened.

Worst possible suggestion, don't listen to him OP. Your parents are gonna beat you upside the head(???) for breaking the TV remote.

Well yeah, they'll beat you upside the head. But there's nothing you can do.

He can tell lies or pin the blame on his sister like a responsible, wholesome human being. Even if his parents find out they'll be too proud of him to beat him upside the head, it's absolutely a win/win scenario.

Oh, you're right now that I think about it. After all, it is his sister's fault for leaving the bucket of water out, right? Just blame the whole thing on her. She's the one that dropped the remote in there. No need to get caught up in the details.

It's as easy as that, don't even need to use rice to summon some of those damned Asians

What if OP put on a remote costume? I think that would trick his parents into thinking everything is alright until he finds a suitable replacement

Smear human feces on the wall right inside from which ever door they are going to enter through. The stuff on the wall will distract them from the tv remote.

Alternatively, smear it on them and claim it was your sister. They'll be blinded by the stuff in their eyes anyway.

You're loving dead kiddo.

This is a flawless plan that cannot go wrong under any circumstances

remove batteries and let it dry few days.

electronics can get tons of water on em no problwm. they just cant be powered while they are wet.
battwry powered things can atill work aometimes if you dry em out and get new battwry.

yeah one time my brother broke my dads tv remote

i miss him ever since

rip cigarette.

aka every op.

big deal you can get a new remote for a cheap price, most they would do is just yell at you

Don't listen to him, he only types like that because of the brain damage he sustained from trying this himself, and his parents found out!
