Author Topic: How fast do you type?  (Read 1443 times)

I want to see how fast the Blockland Forum can really type.

In very short bursts, I can do up to 90 WPM, but I tend to type at ~25-40 WPM in practice, mostly due to me trying to type too fast while ignoring accuracy. I also type better on different keyboards, and slower on the keyboards I actually use...

Low 90s-Low 100s is my WPM range

I type faster in English than my native language (Dutch)

I normally type really fast but i look at my keyboard when i type so having to look up and down ruins these tests for me

wow forget you too

Can't get to a computer ATM but 165 was a top speed on a test in typing class last year. Around 110-120 average when not trying to type speed-based.

You really should learn how to touch type, it's not hard.

Well where can i start?
i mean i already know the general area where a key is in and when i want to type it i look over in that area then press it.

i do the same thing when i don't look, but i always miss the key because i can't confirm the exact spot that its in just by touch.

its really just practice.

I don't need to look and I rest my hands on the asdf and jkl; keys.
