I heard Noah was actually pretty good though and could possibly be seen as having an anti-God message overall. Haven't watched it myself to say so myself though.
Not really. There wasn't much interaction by God. Basically the only things God is directly credited with doing was creating the world, expelling Adam and Eve from Eden, corrupting the angels who went to help men (they became rock giant things) and causing the flood.
There's a lot more attributed to God solely by Noah, who claims God gave is testing him. It was things like Noah believing that God had chosen to kill all humans and that his family weren't supposed to reproduce, but that was never actually shown to be true. Noah had come to those conclusions himself.
The film was decent, but just too different from the original to be great.
For example, World War Z is a pretty good zombie film, but it is nothing like the book and if you've read the book it's difficult to ignore that fact.
Noah is a pretty good film, but it is so different from the Biblical story. Had you not known the story then it would be a lot better. But most people have grown up knowing the story of Noah and the Flood, so it's constantly in the back of your mind.
