help with monitor resolution

So i just downloaded Unturned and selected fullscreen, but then my sreen went black and said "invalid format".  I already had this problem with Planetside 2 but I was able to fix it by editing the startup config file, but i cant find that in Unturned's directory.  How can I fix this so that I can play the game?

thanks but i dont think that would work.

If i could just get it to go back to windowed mode I would be in good shape.  Already tried reinstallation

open up regedit.exe
find HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Smartly Dressed Games\Unturned
delete it

You know Unturned is on steam and in the steam folders right?

Yes, but that's where the settings for Unturned are saved.

right click game on steam library
properties
set launch options
type in "-window"
ok
close
try to launch the game again
