Hosting blockland v20 servers

Hello. I was wondering if it was ok to host a password protected blockland v20 server. Can someone tell me if it is ok? Im not really sure if it is ok or not.

Badspot really does not like discussion about hosting v20 servers. But I'm sure if you make it passworded like you said it would, and just only make one server then it should be okay. Just tell your buddies, don't tell everyone on the forums the password.

If Badspot sees a v20 server on the server list there will be hell to pay. Just saying you might want to open up a lan and use Hamachi if your friends want to connect otherwise its punishable.

Jorgur got his abilities to post to the master server revoked because of this, I suggest against it.

today some friend permabanned me from his server for saying not to host v20 on the master server

Don't give people the password that don't have v20, and make sure you don't have it in public.

Badspot will remove your server from the master query list, which means no one can see your server. (Other than joining by IP)
