smoking weed ticked a box in my head that i was no longer 'drug free', and led me to research other drugs which eventually led to my use of alcohol, acid, mushrooms, molly, and cocaine. it was the first thing i ever did.

One of the things mentioned in The Union is how drug tests don't work because your body gets rid of any traces of hard drugs before the tests can detect anything; so drug dealers will convince kids to buy the hard drugs because they're less likely to get caught.
