Author Topic: V.6.5 Fortwar Map [RELEASED]  (Read 4982 times)

Hey everyone, I finally finished V.6.5 of Bim's Fortwars map.
Here are some screenshots of what's different

A basic picture showning what most of the map has in store for players.

One of the many cave entrances for players to explore and put bases inside.

A lake inside one of the larger cave systems.

A lot easier to see without shaders on.

Plenty to explore within these caves and places to put bases at.

What a player sees fresh out of the spawn.

A rather dead or dreary looking valley.

The sheer size of the map pictured on top of the tallest peak.

End

I hope you liked this little album I threw together.

Here are some videos of me building the entire thing. (LONG VIDEOS)

reminds me of my tribal fortwars, :D

It looks a lot nicer than the last one, in my opinion, probably because of the trees. Nice job.

This looks freakin' AMAZING

Nice Job! that must of been a lot of work of terrains just for some fort-war heh.
Good job!  :cookie:

All these terrain-heavy builds make me really happy since maps are gone, good job mate!

Nice map but the trees and the texture prints really do let it down.

Like I suggest to everyone: Change the texture prints into ramp print and change the trees to the nicer looking ones (I cant even remember what they're called but I'm sure you know the ones I mean)

Other than that, I really like this map and may even play!

That print is so tiny.
You'd think it were just blank textures until you looked at your feet and zoomed in.

Besides, I like the look of the stud texture. And the trees.

Stud textures are pretty much the worst textures to pick due to the horrible transition from brick to brick.
Blank (spacebar texture) is very different to ramp print. the blank texture gives off a horrible shine.

true, but hidden bases stick out too much on any other texture
