There's a LOT of political debate, confusion and downright lies about every country involved with the Ukrainian conflict.
Russian Goverment banned the imports from US and EU because both countries have issued sanctions on Russia. And I can tell you that Russia may even benefit from it, though.
I live in this country, and whenever fruits and vegetables are deemed "imported" we avoid them like plague.
I mean seriously, when carrots look perfectly clean and have the same size as every other carrot in the box it gets very suspicious.
