Author Topic: my TV is picking up really odd signals  (Read 1467 times)

in my room, I have an old 14-17 inch box television, and I recently got a cable box for it. When I change the channels on the TV, most are static like usual, I think 44 would be cable, 47 would be the same thing except fuzzier and less quality, and for some reason, 56 would be a VERY saturated version with quiet audio. Channel 2 however, would normally be the FM radio I'm pretty sure. On my TV it's built in, so no antennas or anything on the back. At first it didn't pick up anything, just quiet static. I left it on with almost no volume while cleaning my room, when I noticed the static stopped. I turned it back up and it was just a really low humming noise and what seemed like a faint siren. Then the audio cut out and made a louder buzzing noise followed by like 4 click or tap noises and repeated this around 5 times, then went back to just static. It hasn't happened again since, but occasionally there's a really fast and faint scratching noise like someone's using a handsaw. Also, the really saturated channel disappeared it's really odd,  does anyone know what it could be causing this ?

it could be interference with a police radio/other radios or some hipster trying to fool other hipsters

once i overheard what sounded like some guys talking in a plane that was flying over me, i had a giant old tv then.

Maybe you're delusional -

Maybe you're delusional from sleep deprivation?
