So first off my LG G3s using too much RAM. I have 3GB and at times I will only have 500MB left and the phone will become a little sluggish.

Second off on the blockland forums forumsI will be typing and it will stop showing up on the scree. Only way to fix that is to open a new tab close it out and go to the bl forum tab again. But in a post it could happen every 2 letters.

Another problem with the blockland forum is the text is super thin. Like I have to zoom in so much to be able to read that I can only see like 10 words at a time.

Anyone that can help me please do, this is really annoying and now I am starting to regret leaving iOS.

run the tap over you phone for a minute to cool it off, it uses less ram when cool.

Go into settings, apps, and view running apps; you can see how much ram specific apps are consuming to pinpoint your ram problem.

Try using the stock android browser to see if it does it on the forums as well, i've never had either problems with the G2

im glad i dont have this problem with ios
this is expected with stock androids running on famous flagships. best thing you could do is install a custom light rom.

I think the best thing to try is to try a different browser. Stock, Dolphin, Firefox, etc

Nothing is using a significant ammount of RAM. Typing on the default Android browser fixes the text not showing up problem, But the text is still coming up small.

Why does Chrome cut off the text when typing for some reason?

I'm all for discussion on this topic, but expected? My mother has not had any of those problems on her Samsung S3 or S4. I've never had those problems either on my HTC V, HTC One X+, and LG G2. I could readily stuff on IOS but thats not the point of this topic

I'll look and see if others are having your problem, its quite possible that the G3 simply reserves that much ram for the operating system. I don't use chrome so I wouldn't have a clue. Go into the google play store, pull up the chrome app on the store, view the reviews for your device and the latest version to see if other people are experiencing problems with it on the same device as yours. I would assume its a bug with chrome. The small text thing would be either blockland not having a mobile viewing version or simply how the browser determines when to shrink or enlarge the page to fit your screen. Some sites are weird in that they won't shrink or enlarge to fit, and different browsers handle it differently.

EDIT: 1.5gb is reserved for system memory, 600mb of that is reserved for graphics because of the high resolution display
"1.5Gb is low ram usage. In fact now ram is never wasted, as whatever isn't actively used is used to cache apps.
Don't worry about it."

Are you using the stock ROM?  They usually come preloaded with a forgetton of bloat.

Poor glass, first hacked, now this.

Btw, chrome has always been known for a memory hog, on the phone and computer.

my phone has been running weirdly high on RAM lately as well. lately i've been running around 700 to 760MB out of 829MB and it's really annoying because then it starts closing apps that i exit out of. restarting fixes it for a few hours and then it just starts eating up the RAM again. hitting "clear memory" on the task manager only brings it down to around 600-650MB when it usually runs around 300-400MB. it runs really high even when i'm not running any active apps.

wish i knew a fix for this too, i've had this phone about a year and it's never done this before,

Be mindful of the apps you've installed on your phone. Android phones cache app data to ram so that they start up faster which is why on restart your phone will show the least amount of ram usage, give it a minute and you'll see what it normally stays at

Just wait till the major android update for fall/winter comes out ;)
