i dont think theres really anything wrong with my card for what he's trying to do
sure its "old" but it does everything he needs it to (and im willing to sell for well under $100)

I really hate people that do this.

"I need something that's the best thing ever, but I dont wanna pay anything.." It's like that time somebody asked me if there was a 4k gaming rig that was $500 or less. It's just facepalm worthy.

Short answer, no. If you want a GPU that will even do anything serious, you better drop the cash for one, or don't get one at all. You can't have your CPU and eat it too.
