Blockland consistently hangs when I refocus the window

I'm not 100% sure on why this happens. It's been happening since about two or three months after I built my computer. Essentially, as the title states, whenever Blockland gains focus after using another app, the game hangs for 5-10 seconds, during which time, pressing more than about 3 or 4 keys will crash the game.

After blockland's done hanging, the message "Window reactivating.." is displayed, between four and 16 times.


This happens on both steam and non-steam version with no add-ons enabled.

This issue definitely has been hindering gameplay. I didn't mind much before since I didn't alt tab often, however now that I'm working on a mod it's definitely getting in the way.

I think running it in borderless windowed mode will help. Fullscreen applications tend to be a bit silly.

I neglected to say that I run blockland in Windowed mode. A while back I did notice that switching to boarderless mode seemed to fix the issue, however it's only fixed the issue once, and switching to boarderless has no effect anymore.

That actually (pretty much) fixed it for me. Still a 1 second hang, but it's much better than the 5-10 seconds i usually get

No, just blockland.
Also, I don't run blockland in fullscreen mode

This used to happen to me all the time. Since then I'v e moved to a new computer. I launched Safari on my computer then clicked on the Blockland window. This worked for me, though it's only a temporary fix.
