since windows 8 is stuff and doesn't come with windows movie maker, I need to find a good, free video editing software.

please give me your recommendations.

You can download Windows Movie Maker off the Microsoft website, but I'd recommend using something nice.
I don't do the videos so I can't make any recommendations.

Everything good I can think of costs $$$ or is a Mac program, which is obviously the complete opposite of what you want...

I'll stick around this thread though because I might want to do something on my laptop.
